Hi, I’m Himani, founder of EaselnGlass Photography.
I welcome you to my creative sanctuary. I’m based in Singapore and this beautiful country has been our home for almost 13 years now. I often get asked why the name Easel and Glass, and it’s simply because I love both - Art & Photography, and sometimes I mix these mediums to create a fusion of the two.
My journey into photography started almost a decade ago. Over the years I’ve worked with some wonderful and highly creative people on many projects, who have taught me a lot and have encouraged me to push my own creative boundaries.
I mostly shoot Portraits, Food, Jewelry and Products. So, if you have something you have created and want to showcase to the world or if you want to put your best self out there, we can work together and help you achieve the results you want.
A bit more about me - I was born and raised in India. As my father was in the Armed Forces, we moved cities every 2 years and that meant starting fresh, making new friends, having varied experiences and continuously adapting to different situations. In many ways, I have found that working on new photography projects is very similar and my past experiences come very handy.
The arts have always been a part of my life with my mom being my creative inspiration since I was little. After my graduation, I went on to get a background in Interior Designing. Thereafter, winning a couple of Beauty Pageants and being a part of Miss India 2000 gave me a chance to do many Modelling Assignments for Fashion/TV and Editorials in India. I had the good fortune of working with many top fashion photographers at that time and that helped me understand more about angles and lighting. It also helped me understand what it’s like to be on both sides of the lens.
